Vendor/Maker Import Management

RLM had addressed several frustrating and costly issues when manufacturing or importing goods from off shore vendors. Often times, carton contents do not match your customer’s carton-packing requirements. This results in an exorbitant amount of charge backs.

RLM had taken the same approach that your trading partners took with ASN requirements to address the issue: “label my shipment accurately and notify me electronically of what I am going to receive”.

Within a vendor secure environment, all outbound goods are scanned into cartons in much the same manner you scan your shipments bound for your trading partners.

IM creates carton content labels at the vendor, and if desired can create shipment pallet labels and further create container labels. All of this is done real time on your system. That means all updates are immediate and you get the information you need, when you need it. Vendor level security and access is limited using RLM’s standard security profiles.

The Import Management System (IM) is designed as an integrated add-on module to the RLM Domestic/807 Production and Import Purchasing systems.
